Michelle Ussher completed a BFA (Honours, Drawing) at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2002. Her solo exhibitions include The only thing I know is the only thing you taught me, GCAS Stand, Melbourne Art Fair 2006; What would I know I only live here, Room 103, Auckland, NZ 2006; Dragonflyeye, Darren Knight Gallery 2006; Making Faces, Bus Gallery, Melbourne 2004; Playing House, CLUBSproject, Melbourne 2004; People who need people, First Draft, Sydney 2003; and Paintings and posters, TCB/Uplands, Melbourne 2002. Michelle was featured in the Museum of Contemporary Art's exhibition Primavera 2005, and her other selected group exhibitions include Freedom for prosperity, David Pestorius Projects, Brisbane 2005; It's all about us, Arts Victoria, Melbourne 2005; Slave, VCA Gallery, Melbourne 2005; and 1+1+1, Yulli Crowley Gallery, Sydney 2005. Her curatorial projects include Drawingames (with Laresa Kosloff), ongoing through 2004-2005; and Nature Rubik 15 (with James Lynch and Julia Gorman), 2003. Michelle is a founding member of CLUBSproject.
