Rob McHaffie

Rob McHaffie completed a Bachelor of Fine Art (Drawing) at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2002. Selected individual exhibitions include Darren Knight Gallery, Sydney, 2006; Crumpled Date Paintings, MOP Projects, Sydney 2004; A date with half beautiful, TCB Gallery, Melbourne 2004; and Calendar Girls, Kings Artist Run Gallery, Sydney 2003. Recent group exhibitions include Primavera '06 , Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney 2006; The Armory Show Art Fair, New York, USA 2006; Stress Less , (with Lane Cormick), Gertrude Contemporary art Spaces 2006; Address Book, Bus Gallery, Melbourne 2004; thankyou, thankyou, Dudespace, Melbourne 2004; Containers Project, Next Wave Festival, Melbourne 2004; and Sticks and Stones, Academy Gallery, University of Tasmania, Launceston 2004. Rob is currently a committee member of Seventh Artist Run Gallery, and was the winner of the 2003 Linden Postcard show, and the 2002 VCA Contemporary Drawing Prize. Rob McHaffie is represented by Darren Knight Gallery, Sydney.
