Installation view of '40 Degrees' at 200 Gertrude Street
2 February -
24 February 2007
40 Degrees dwelt on the madness of summer in the city, when leisure goes awry and interior worlds boil to the surface. Featuring work in a variety of media this exhibition dusted off our secrets turning our squinting faces to the sun, drawing on aspects of ‘mango madness’, pathological suburbia, bushfire romance and summer shame.
