Repent! And Sin No More juxtaposed a suite of paintings with an installation of coloured stripes covering the gallery’s front window. Viewable only from the street, the installation positioned the visual codes of modernist abstraction and Op art against slogans and aphorisms, ominously foregrounding the mediating structures for viewing the contemporary world. Presented as part of Midsumma 2005.
