Gertrude Contemporary presented 'Paintings, Drawings and Lithographs,' a solo exhibition by Peter Walsh examining the development of his practice over mediums, from cartoonish, doodled drawings to the psychological, allegorical imagery of his paintings. A process of preserving familiarity as his works progress from free association to intentionally fragmented incongruence. The exhibition was on show at 200 Gertrude Street from 12 September until 11 October 1986.
